Enabling the Energizing Education Program (EEP 2)
Access to reliable power in Nigeria’s seats of learning is vital to ensuring the further socio-economic development of Nigeria.
The EEP Phase II was set up by the REA in Nigeria to enable the constant power supply to 7 prominent universities and teaching hospitals. With a further 40+ institutions to have power assured in later phases.
For this World Bank-funded program, the REA has selected SteamaCo as its sole AMI solution. The SteamaCo system will be deployed to enable smart meter monitoring, automated switching and billing allocation.
The team at SteamaCo is currently working hard on delivering this project, which aims to be in place by the beginning of 2024.
